My favorite duck hunt
I had been anticipating this hunt for a long time. The youth hunt! We had been sitting in the blind for a a while withought seeing any ducks. We were obsessing over the people who kill a bunch of ducks with one shot. Right when I was thinking that , we see a big group. As there flying past us , I aim and pull the trigger.BANG! One shot two drop. Next group BANG! Two more drop! And then the same thing for the next group. Me and my dad were going nuts. That is a duck hunt I will never forget. The hunt was in November 2012
Any duck call recommendations ?
I am looking for a new duck call. I would like a double reed call for under $90. If you have any recommendations could you please reply. Thank you
Echo
I agree with the Echo call recommendation. I am by no means great with a duck call, but the Echo sounds good every time I blow it.
Brown
duck calls
I would recommend an echo call it can give you that low deep sound and that sharp raspy tune which i own zink echo and rnt calls and i like the echo the most but i have heard good things about the field proven calls
any duck call recommendations
its not a double reed, but my favorite call is the rnt daisy cutter in cocobolo. i can blow it low, high, raspy, or squeaky. the reed never sticks and i can get nice and soft when the ducks are shy or pretty loud when they are out a ways. i also like my buddy's acrylic zinc ph2, but it costs a bit more.
Howdy Guys of migration nation
I must also say I love your show have been a fan for quite a while now & keep up the good work

My Greatest hunting experience
In 1996 While hunting geese just west Victoria, Il. it was a very foggy Morning not to cold i'm guessing 36 37 or so & no wind to speak of. While sitting in our fence made blind shooting the breeze, after about a 1/2 hour I looked out there was about 25 Turkeys walking around our decoys I said to the guys to take a peek at our decoys & they did & we froze so. But still no geese to be heard. About 1/2 hour I heard something to the North then more yep, geese & they where heading our way, we called just a little & very light & man all the sudden all %#^ broke loose, geese were every where, as soon as we seem em the 4 of us started shooting 8 geese just dropped WE GOT OUR LIMIT!! But the seen was hilarious as soon as we started shooting, the Turkeys (bet there hearts were racing i,m sure) got up as the geese dropped The seen was so funny all you seen were wiings going up & wings coming down wished that 1 was on film!!!!!!!!!

Glad to be a part of the
Glad to be a part of the nation.
It is obvious you guys know what you are doing.
I put down my bow after hunting whitetails in Texas for over 30 years and started duck hunting about 7 years ago. I did not have any waterfowling gear so I had to enter the sport with little knowledge or experience as to what manufacturer had the upper hand on gear and apparrel. After my first season of buying (and discarding) many less expensive, lesser quality brands, I stepped up to Drake products. Drake now makes up almost every piece of my clothing and gear because it is simply the best.

Drake products are with me in the duck blind, and at deer camp.
That look your dog gives you when you miss that bird that you should have been able to hit while blind folded.
